The Vanganelsko jezero measures approximately 2,5 ha and reaches the depth of 18 m and is home to some royal specimen of catfish. Carps, grass carps, catfish, pikes, zander, chubs and percoidei all live in it.

From Koper we drive in the direction of Pula. At the roundabout near the hypermarket Mercator we turn left in the direction of Marezige. After approximately 4 km we arrive to the settlement Vanganel.  Then 500 more m up the hill and wee are there- the beautiful reservoir Vanganelsko jezero.
