The little lake is of artificial origin, made by stemming of the Želinjski breeding stream: this stream springs in the middle of the Udenboršt plateau and outflows into the Parovnica-Rupovščica at Tenetiše, after approximately 5 km. Fish in the lake: the main fish species, before we put in carps and tenches, were little chubs and chubs as well as the brown trouts, roaches and common rudds. Some grass carps and pikes can be also found here.
