The ponds Ribniki were made on the old clay pits in Verd. That is the reason that both bigger ponds are still overgrown with tree remains at the edges; the trees that grew when the clay had been excavating still. The first pond on the left side is meant for the procreation of fish , the rest of them are fishing ponds. For the fishermen beginners we recommend two smaller ponds on the left side, the more experienced ones should go to the Divjak, where sunken trees make fishing a lot harder. This very pond is full of surprises because along the other fish some first class catfish can be found here.
