The Želimeljščica is a wonderful creek that springs under the castle Turjak, where the noble family Auersperg once lived and then flows into the Iščica in the bog. Early spring is the most beautiful time to fish on the Želimeljščica when the waters are stil snowy and the hills are not yet grown in by the river vegetation. You can catch some indigenous brown trouts, big rainbow trouts and feisty chubs.
