The river Sotla runs along the state border between Slovenia and Croatia. It encounters many natural and cultural beauties on its journey.  It is easier to access it in the vicinity of the settlements and in landscape park Jovsi near Dobova. The Sotla  is home to chubs, Danube roaches, carps, barbels and some first class pikes.
